i know, i know.. it’s been a very long time since i updated this blog. I’ll soon be moving to a new site (and hopefully, I’ll be able to consistently blog there). I recently bought www.jennytrinidad.com and as for now, i have no other plans but to install wordpress there, and make it a blog. AND, Optimize my own site! My goodness, I work on SEO-ing client sites, but I havent spent time on my own. *LOL* some seo person am i

Well, just a few update.

I watched “Fiddler On The Roof” by Repertory Philippines with friends. I was surprised to see a co-cast on my last play “Little Shop of Horrors” (with Trumpets) to be part of the play. And frankly, I was proud to see him. I wonder if I took musical-theater acting seriously.. I could have been there on stage too. More over, I remember the stage-acting opportunities that I refused *sigh* But then again, in life, there will always be A LOT of good choices.. Its all a matter of picking for ourselves what we think is Best. And once we’ve made a choice, even if we see the down-sides of what we believed is Best, there’s no turning back.. no regrets.. It will just be a matter of making the most from it, and appreciating all that there is.

Looking back, I still think I made the right choice. I could have lost my current job if I carried on with musical-theater.. And worse, I could have been wandering again, and praying for directions (like a fresh graduate looking for a job, tsk). I can’t afford that risk anymore.. Not again. And so I realize im getting older. ha.

Series of Concerts
We had concerts for 4 consecutive weekends. And mind you, there were 16-22 songs per concert. huwaw. And even some of us had flu and cough; we didn’t let these sicknesses stop us from singing. I even had tonsillitis on the last concert in Bulacan. It was His grace that kept us going on. After 37 years of His Sound’s existence.. the Lord never failed to bless us, and bless those people whom we minister to through choral music. I love this group. And as long as the Lord calls us to sing, we will give our best shot.

im sooo luvin’ my n72 pink series – click, smile, and catch scenes and moments. here’s some stuff i’ve captured..

Here’s my new home. I moved to Kingswood in Pasong Tamo Makati, from our apartment in Don Antonio Ortigas. I’ve been there for 2 weeks already. The place is great! i love it. And one thing that I like in this place? we have a swimming pool. yey! And also, I really love the view on the window beside my bed, especially at night with makati city lights.

We walk to Coffee Bean at Greenbelt 3, atleast twice a week. Sometimes I have 3 meetings in a day at Coffee Bean.. I overdose myself with Cafe Mocha, or White Chocolate Dream. yum yum.

Are you a pet lover? If you are.. you must go to cartimar. My heart melted when i saw the shitzu puppies.. I didnt want to let go. We looked for Violet Irene Love Birds, princess type Shitzu, Sunconeur, and other bird stuff. Ohh.. and we bought plants too. some nature lover we are.

One of my favorities? SEAFOODS! yummy. I tell you, Cavite is the place to go baby! We bought a gallon of Talaba and a gallon of Tahong, and we didnt go over P100. We also had steamed fish, and Green mangoes with bagoong for dinner. I was super full that night

Talking about food.. how could i ever forget Saisaki? With 2 plates full of tempura, sushi, sashimi, yakitori, and ofcouse, sukiyaki, and a bowl of icecream my mouth and tummy is sooo happy.

college friends reunion

One of my college friends, Joel, spent his 1-week break here in Manila after months of working at Singapore. I suddenly felt that time, indeed, flew sooo fast.

I remember those times when we eat lunch at carinderia’s and our favorite – bbq and liempo, our routine mirienda kina manong – goto, ginatan, halo-halo, saging na saba, at kung anu-ano pa. I remember when we save money to watch movies and when we walk around malls for window shopping.

But now, im amazed where those 3 years brought us.. Joel is now working in Singapore, Deeh is in Meralco, Nap is with Banco De Oro, and Abet is with UniLab.. and i think he’s being trained to be team lead. Cathy is with Accenture, KC is a team lead at Convergys, while Edgar is taking a second degree – nursing. And me? ha. playing around the corporate and business world.

I miss you guys! I miss east asia too.

So I posted this YM status this morning while wishing to eat this hot noodles.

And guess what? A friend invited me to view his webcam.. and look at the screen below! errr.. i don’t know if he’s a true friend or not *LoL*

I guess I should run downstairs, buy a la paz bachoy, and let him view my webcam as i savor the hot soup and noodles. ha.

On Life, Love, Dreams, and Adulthood

Life is a Journey of hills and valleys were we, as a person, walk through all the highs and lows with our own bare feet, and there’s no better way but to move on in spite of piercing rocks and stones along the way, never the less, the smooth fine sand and green grass, just the same, is on the way.

The past two weeks have been a series of calm peaceful breeze and heavy quakes – it’s unpredictable. I’m happy, but not so. I’s sad, but not so. I don’t know. I can’t define.

I have mentioned in my previous post how I wanted to have that N72 Pink Series, and yes, I now have it in my hands. Ever since my first 5110 phone, I have always settled with hand-me-down phones, not until now. Ha. Truth is, it doesn’t matter that much to me, as long as I can text, call, play games, and set the alarm with snooze.. take note of the “snooze” feature. Haha. (It’s every effective for my “last 5 minutes, pleeeassse” morning wishes).

I have mentioned long ago in my old blog (dated September 16, 2005) all about my secret wishes. And one of them is to:

• do a major musical theatre play with Trumpets

I have forgotten about this dream ever since I started focusing myself on my career, and some other “adult priorities”. But one day, I found an invitation from Trumpets for their re-lauch of “The First Name”. My heart starts pounding again for musical theater. And guess what? I just got the endorsement! Yey! My workshop schedule will start August 20. Coolness. The show will run in October and November (minimum of 30 performances). If things with Trumpets work out, I’ll post an invitation here

Last week, I had a singing gig during the grand opening of the new office space of this one company in Alabang. It was good.. especially the food. Haha.

So after the cool dry season, now comes the heavy rain. As for the heavy rain, I’ll leave it defined as it.

Anyhow, I still have a pile of work to do. My new “title promotion” is on the way, so is the work that comes with it (especially now that we have a lot of new clients starting this month). I have a new freelance gig and I need to do something about it. Tsikot.com’s 5th anniversary is fast approaching and I need to work on it as well. We’re moving out of the apartment in Ortigas, so now I need to look for a place in Makati. And the 7 pairs of birds, mostly Lovebirds will be delivered this coming Monday, I gotta help buy the plants and arrange the garage.

*sigh* Keep yourself busy, Jenny. Focus. Focus.

Now that Im ending this blog of rants, I’ll still say, and I’ll say it again: I’m happy, but not so. I’s sad, but not so. I don’t know. I can’t define.
