One of my college friends, Joel, spent his 1-week break here in Manila after months of working at Singapore. I suddenly felt that time, indeed, flew sooo fast.
I remember those times when we eat lunch at carinderia’s and our favorite – bbq and liempo, our routine mirienda kina manong – goto, ginatan, halo-halo, saging na saba, at kung anu-ano pa. I remember when we save money to watch movies and when we walk around malls for window shopping.
But now, im amazed where those 3 years brought us.. Joel is now working in Singapore, Deeh is in Meralco, Nap is with Banco De Oro, and Abet is with UniLab.. and i think he’s being trained to be team lead. Cathy is with Accenture, KC is a team lead at Convergys, while Edgar is taking a second degree – nursing. And me? ha. playing around the corporate and business world.
I miss you guys! I miss east asia too.
